    I started a 3 hour 8 week Leadership class on May 14th.
I started a 3 hour 8 week Change Management class on June 11th.

The Leadership class was suppose to happen last semester but Purdue ran into a snafu and the instructor was not available to teach the class.

The coordinator for the program enrolled us in both courses. Several (know at least 4 of us) contacted the coordinator because we had concerns about the course load during the overlap period between the two classes. We were ensured that the two instructors would work together to balance the workload.

The Leadership instructor has balance the workload and has been extremely reasonable working with us. She has a law degree and a doctorate and master's from Harvard in education.

The instructor for the other class for the first week assigned us four discussion questions and wants us to also post two responses for each discussion question. We will have to create 12 posts for the week. So far with the classes I've taken at Purdue I was required to post to one discussion question and two responses weekly to other classmates' weekly discussion posts. When I attended Brandeis the norm there was two discussion questions and one response to each discussion question. The posts count as the class participation portion of the overall course grade which is 10% of the total. Something doesn't seem right here. In my other Purdue classes class participation counted 20% or higher for the total grade for doing a lot less work.

This issue has been resolved. The instructor decided too many posts would be hard to manage. I appreciate his change of heart.
