Hi all, Just wanted to pop in and let you know that as of about 5 minutes ago, I am now finished with all of my course requirements for my Ph.D. at Capella. I am so excited -- this feels like such a huge milestone! I am registered for comprehensive exams Summer quarter, so by September I hope to be ABD and into the dissertation process. One of the classes I had this last quarter was on survey research methods, and in it I got to run what will eventually be my dissertation survey instrument in a pre-test. That was a great experience, and besides learning what all I need to do to my instrument to clean it up and get it ready for the real study, the analysis of the results provided some solid statistical evidence that my research questions are valid and on the right track. So that is really exciting, too. Just wanted to let y'all know of my progress. I do still pop in to read the threads, even though I haven't posted in awhile. Will keep you updated! Cheers, Adrienne
Congratulations! Great news! Onward and upwards! Congratulations on your accomplishment so far. Kenneth
Congrats. I know how you feel. Now it all starts to change. Comps and Dissertation are very different from taking courses. Wish you the best!
