It must be great to know how important your work is. I think that homeschooling or some blended learning environment will be the future. I don't think that people are happy anywhere with huge schools where kids and behaviors fall in the cracks.

I don't know if it is any use for you in the future, but Australia had "homeschooling" in the form of "School of the Air" where kids in isolated and remote cattle and sheep stations (ranches) are taught by the use of technology. This has been going on since the 1940's when the kids were taught by "pedal wireless". They talk about distance learning now! Most of the kids were at least a thousand miles away from their teacher.

Anyway, not sure how it works, but it may also be a market for you. These schools are run by the state and federal govts. In the global age, they may want educational product. Here is a link site:

Thank you ebb! I'll check it out. My book is just very simple. There are already a ton of excellent homeschooling books, and there are many excellent college credit books, but I'd never found a book that taught me how to use college credit options in my homeschool. So really, I wrote it for my family. I'm not a writer, I'm not a huge activist, I'm not trying to change the world, and I'm not trying to earn a million dollars. I just wrote down how to merge the credit earning options into a traditional homeschool curriculum so that your child might earn a few credits along the way. High schools have used AP in this way for years, but homeschoolers generally shy away from approaching public schools (for a number of reasons) so using CLEP/DSST/ACE-evaluated credit is a natural fit in my mind. I don't especially focus on distance learning or accelerated learning, I mainly provide info.

I did land (somehow!?) on the HSLDA website as a "recommended resource" which I am pretty excited about! They are kind of a big deal in homeschooling circles. People are giving me good reviews (mostly lol) so I'm happy to have created it. I hope many people find good utility in those pages! :)
