I have about a 100 page document that references about 300 other documents (each will be a stand alone PDF that I will enventually make 3 PDF fiels). Is there a way I can make a table of attachments (to outside documents?) in MS Word? Secondly a thought was to maybe just a pointer in the document, like a table of contents, but updates the list 1, 2, 3, 4 (I am still adding in references, and don't want to have to update all the numebrs when I put in a new reference in the middle of the document. I tried a Table of Figures, but it does not show the wording I need (thinking it is a picture)

    Thoughts????

There are two ways. The first is to use the mail merge function which creates a master document with the other files in the main doc. This may not work for pdfs.

A simpler way is to create a section at the end with just the titles of the included documents and use them to create your table of contents. Then create a hyperlink to the actual document using that title. This will not give you a total page count including those documents, but will allow readers to go to them.
