    TEKMAN Semper Fi!

Has anybody have experience with MOOC courses serve as prerequisites? Is there any school out there is currently considering MOOC courses as prerequisites? For example, you did not take Calculus II for you undergraduate program because it was not required. Now, you're looking for a degree that require at least Calculus I and Calculus II as prerequisites. Or another example is from undergraduate technical degree to MBA, and MOOC courses serves as foundations or prerequisites.

    Thanks!

The public schools make a boatload on those foundation courses so I doubt they would give those up. However, the foundation courses can be waived if you take the undergrad equivalent or a CLEP test. I have told many of my coworkers about this fact and they decided to ignore it. They have been in foundation courses for 18 months.
