Minnesota State University Mankato offers several online programs that seem to be worth highlighting here.

    MS Cross-Disciplinary Studies
The degree is designed around two 18 sh graduate certificates from MNSU, plus a 1 sh capstone course. If you’re interested in a subject area that appears in the MNSU online master’s degree list but not in their online graduate certificate list, you might inquire. Similarly if you’re interested in doing most of this at MNSU but bringing in transfer credit, you might read MNSU’s university-wide policy on graduate transfer credit and if your credit could qualify inquire further. (The policy is fairly restrictive.)

    MS Communication and Composition
If the two fields you’re interested in are Teaching Writing and Communication Education, rather than the MS Cross-Disciplinary Studies you’ll want this!
