The MBA Thesis was a 3-unit optional course when I did my MBA at Santa Clara University in the mid-80's. Neither California Pacific University, Touro University International nor University of Phoenix, three MBA programs with which I am very familiar, require a thesis.

Yet another reply to your question Master, no one has answered your question about length of a MSc thesis:

For my M.Sc. thesis (Revans (Boulder) and IMCA (Britain)), 10K words were required and mine ended up being just over 14K. In "Microsoft Word", with normal margins, 12 pitch font, dbl spacing, that's about 70 pages.

Additionally, when I applied and was accepted into Touro Univ Intl for a PhD program (June 2003) , no comment or question was ever made about whether or not I took a "thesis" route for my Masters.
