    Steven,

Thanks for the reply. Since you are with The George Washington University; I really want to look at the MS in Project Management. It seem to be pricey, what do you think? Well, the school name is well serve in the workforce or the Military. I think Boston University is cheaper than GWU.

Check out the MBA in Project Management, Mississippi State University. Many military students, tuition for Mississippi National Guard members is around $9000 - might want to ask if they'll extend the discount to you:

Thanks FLA Expatriate, Daniel, and Everybody. I think I found the program that I like, I looked at the school...never seen it before. I am going to eHarvard (Harvard University Extension) with Master of Liberal Arts in Management. I love the demo course; so, I'll go for it.

P.S: I am taking SMU off from my signature officially.

Are you going to live near Harvard or is the program now offered online?

It is online, but requires some residency.

What, Harvard -- that infamous degree mill? ;) But seriously, their site says:

Seems like not only do you not have to apply yet, you can't even if you want to do so!

ooppss. Starting the process, but realize that more than half of the program must be completed at the campus. It is cool to be a Harvard kid, but don't have much time to spend 8 courses at the campus. Now, I am bouncing for a different one.

Ah, I was thinking when you mentioned it that it was a new thing for them or something. As it is, if I remember correctly the MLA in Information Systems is the only program of theirs where it's even somewhat practical to live elsewhere than Boston.

If you are looking for a big name school, check out the NYU MS in Management and Systems. There is a Strategy and Leadership concentration that may fit your needs.

It is expensive!!!!!!!!!! over $1,000.00 per credit; GWU sounds better.

GWU is $1000 per credit, not exactly cheap either.

I know, but I like GWU in my resume; but I don't like the M.S in Project Management. I am looking at Liberty University's M.S in Management, which can be completed within 2 years...then go to NCU. Unless I have a chance to attend B&M college.

    But thanks for the recommendation.

If you are looking for an MS in management, take a look at the DANTES list of master's degrees. Surely you can find a school on their list that will meet your needs and be reasonably priced.

    http://www.dantescatalogs.com/DEDC/InstitutionsBySubjectType.asp?RecID=4

Florida Tech offers the following DL master's degrees and they charge $1425 per course:

    Acquisition and Contract Management
    Human Resources Management
    Logistics Management
    Management
    Master of Public Administration
    Materiel Acquisition Management
    Professional Master of Business Administration
    Project Management
    Systems Management

    PhD2B,

Thanks for the information. I had read the information online at FIT, and they require GRE for the admission. Of course between Liberty University and Florida Institute of Technology; I would go with FIT. Especially FIT is top 3rd tier school in the national.

The GRE is required for some of their programs, but not all. My program did not require the GRE. Check with the school to see if the programs you are interested in require the GRE.

I looked at the DANTES' website, and the only school I like is University of Alabama and FIT. However, I both require GRE or GMAT (Alabama is 580). Go down to the next one Minot State University is cohort, I am not into that...I want more flexible. Liberty and Regis, I rather go to Liberty because I can transfer some credit from Aspen University (DETC).

You can't always rely on the DANTES website to give you accurate admissions information. Some programs at FIT require the GRE, but not all of them. Your best bet is to check with the school about specific programs.

    PhD2B,

Thank you very much. Well, for University of Alabama; I called the program adviser, so I got the GMAT score from him. For Florida Institute of Technology, I read on their website. After reading your post, I gave them a call. And the GRE or GMAT is not required if my undergraduate degree GPA is 2.5 or over; which I have more than that. The prerequisite is only College Algebra, and the program is 11 courses. It seems to be my choice for now, but I'll receive more information from the adviser that I just spoke with her.

    Once again, thanks...

You're welcome. Just out of curiosity, which program are you interested in?

Oh, I am interested in Master of Science in Management (General). Some of the credits from Aspen cannot be transfered; however, I can transfer those credits to NCU later for Ph.D in Organizational Leadership. Right now, I am still trying to match between Liberty University and Florida Institute of Technology.

    Florida Institute of Technology
    - Name (better than Liberty) (National Top 3rd Tier University (Top 75%))
    - 11 courses (Cannot be transfered from National Accredited Institution)
    - Free Application fee for Off campus student (include distance Learning)
    - Tuition: $475 per credit (TA covers $250.00 plus MGIB kicking in) (FREE)
    - Tuition: Can be split into 4 equal payments throughout the semester
    - Method Delivery: Blackboard

    Liberty University
    - Name (not popular as FIT)
    - 8 courses after 2 from Aspen University
    - $50.00 application fee
    - Tuition: $250.00 per credit for active duty (FREE)
    - Tuition is from the TA
    - Method Delivery: Blackboard

If I want to be faster....go with Liberty, but if extra time can give me a better name on the paper. hmmmm..
