In response to a request, I received an email from Azaliah College in South Africa indicating their MBA program is $3000US plus mailing expenses. Not a bad price for a SA recognized and US accredited MBA.

(GAAP?) - since I don´t know anything about South African authorities... Thanx and Greets, T. ["Degrees offered by ASBE and accredited by SAQA*: BBA, MBA, BCom, DIPL Business Management and DIPL Marketing Management"]
I never know what to make of SAQA; what I've heard about Azaliah College has certainly been good, and its status as a semi-traditional university combined with the DETC accreditation would seem to make it a bargain, but I'm not sure about how the South African system works when it comes to new colleges (both of the schools I've worked with, UNISA and Potch, were founded in the mid 19th century). The kicker, for me, would be: is it listed in the Commonwealth Universities Yearbook? Peace, ------------------ Tom Head co-author, Get Your IT Degree and Get Ahead (Osborne/McGraw-Hill)
Paul, There is an alternative to your South African MBA... may I suggest Northcentral University? Please contact me and I'll answer any questions you have about an NCU MBA. Hope to hear from you at [email protected].
NCU is certainly an option (though folks should bear in mind that it's not accredited yet); for a list of 191 schools worldwide (135 of them U.S.-based) that possess a recognized form of accreditation (or equivalent recognition) and offer an MBA by distance learning, click here. But while I have you here, I'd like to wish you folks the best of luck with the accreditation process; it would be so nice to be able to recommend more than one school to people who are in the market for an online regionally accredited doctorate (especially since Touro is so expensive).
