Anyone know of any discussion groups/boards/forums that are for distance MBA students? How about MBA students in particular?
www.Degreeforum.com and... I know that www.Degreeforum.com has a section for Graduate school. Check out Forums, then Graduate school. Another is http://mba-forums.com but I don't remember if this is for DL MBA's. I think it was mostly B & M.
Re: www.Degreeforum.com and... Thanks for the plug, but I doubt Degreeforum counts as a "real" MBA discussion forum (I'd love one myself). Of course, it's also down for maintenance right now so there isn't much talking going on Cheers, Mark
Just curious: You don't see this place as one where you can find distance (or otherwise) MBA students you can discuss things with? Seven-thousand-something members and there are not DL MBA students -- or MBA students in general -- among them? I'm not suggesting that you're screwing-up or anything. Actually, I'm sort of chiding the other members here for not being more responsive to whatever are your needs... that is, assuming you've posted your concerns here in the past and haven't gotten the kind of dialog you'd like. I mean... you have given this place a chance by posting your MBA-related questions, concerns, doubts, troubles, frustrations, hopes, desires, etc. here... right? Just askin'.
I understand what you mean, but is there really a forum here to talk about unique selling proposition and how that will affect marketing strategy? Or how Kant's categorical imperative affects benefit planning? I guess what I'm looking for is a place where folks can discuss assignments generically since we all are in different programs but covering the same material. Just a group of beggars telling other beggars where the bread is
Business Week Magazine has its own online forum for distance learning MBA seekers. It requires registration. You can find it here: http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/03/distance.htm
