Is anyone aware of any regionally accredited institutions that offer an undergrad class in Management Science online? The only one I can find so far is "BA 323A - Introduction to Management Science" through Bellevue University. Unfortunately their tuition is a little steep for me at the moment - anyone know of any others?
Here's a few places to try: http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Management/Management_Science/Management_Information_Systems/Online_Courses/ Or try: http://www.ambai.org/ Don't know much about any of these, but you can look into it. You will probably want to make sure whatever you choose is legitimate. It appears that some in this list might be good and some might not. Hope one of those works for you.
Stanford Univ. Looked into the AmbaiU website and I think that one is a mill. Sorry, didn't know that. Maybe you should be careful about some of the others too.
Management Science, also known as Decision Science, Operations Research or Business Analytics, is the quantitative side of management. It is widely used for planning and decision making in business, industry, government, health services and everyday life by applying mathematical-based techniques to solving practical problems, often using computers. Here is an AMU course in operations research: http://www.amu.apus.edu/academic/schedule/course/BUSN312
