"Business schools are racing to add concentrations in science, technology, engineering and math to their M.B.A. programs as they try to broaden their appeal to prospective students overseas who want to work in the U.S." https://www.wsj.com/articles/m-b-a-programs-rush-to-add-stem-degrees-11580898601
I understand the marketing value for an educational institution... I'm not certain I see the marketing value for an individual or interest by employers. Imagine, it really will come down to how the programs distinguish themselves. They are highly respected schools, so I'm certain they will pull it off. This reminds though me of a meeting that I once chaired, where we had a young executive fresh out of b-school and on our executive training rotation come in and present some data. The audience was primarily filled with seasoned engineers in their 50s... and explain, now this math may be too hard for everyone to understand... while mentioning what he thought was this new concept of a pareto chart.
