LSUA BS in Biology

Louisiana State University of Alexandria offers a BS in Biology with concentration in Modern Biology mostly online with some interesting features.

Biology lab course requirements can either be transferred in from another college or fulfilled by two one-week summer courses on-campus in Alexandria. The first is General Lab Techniques for Science Majors, which covers "the lab techniques you would learn by taking the individual labs for General Biology I, General Biology II, and Microbiology." The second is Molecular Genetics and Cellular Techniques.

Physics course requirements have been replaced by computer science.

Tuition and fees are $325 per credit hour (semester hour).
