Louisiana Baptist University...another thread

How have things been going? What are your impressions please? Did you look at any other schools outside of this denomination that had similiar programs?

Good point, Russell. I think that for those within the BBF, this is a reasonable choice.

Beyond just denominational ties, I think that a good reason to go with an unaccredited school would be doctrinal compatibility. The theology at Louisiana Baptist is not unique, but it's does serve a definite niche. I don't recall whether their Th.D. student Craig Hargis was affiliated with the BBF, but he was a baptistic dispensationalist. While Louisiana Baptist wasn't my choice, they are legitimate, and reportedly striving hard to improve, so I wish them well.
