I have an MBA from Top B-school full-time, currently doing an MA interntional Relatons from another top program. I am presently working in Business sector in Africa, and i'm looking for potential Doctoral degrees in DBA or research PhD in International relations. I have contacted University of Cambridge on their research PhD in international relations, but they said i need to first attend their MSt international relations, a part-time program with multiple residencies in Cambridge that make me to have met their 2:1 GPA requirtements and enable me to have a good reseach skills that i lack. And for Doctoral in Business i am eyeing the following programs: 1-WeatherHead school of management, Case Western Reserve,Doctor of mangement pros: Good program with possibility of DM in Organizational Behaviour Cos: Multiple residencies 2-Kennesaw university Executive Doctorate pros: Good progam at B and M university Cos: Multiple residencie, but open to negotiation for internaional students 3-University of South africa, DBL or International relation Doctorate in political science. pros: cheap, 3 years short-prgram, close interm of distance Cos: people unisa is easy to enter but difficult to finish. I lack research skills to be on my own, No teaching only guidance. I just need to have an Doctorate degree to be able to achieve my ambition of being a scholar, and able to join the PhD club. In Africa, we don't require a phD in Business to be from an AACSB to be able to teach in any university. I have seen faculty members with PhD from wholly online or correspondence university teaching or holding very importance government position. Finally, i would also want to enrol for a Professional writting program or BA in english to enable me write very well in both academic and professional standard. Some members have suggested the follow schools, but i don't know which one i will go for: 1- Universsity of colarado BA english 2-University of memphis BA professional writing 3- Mercy college BA english A friend in london suggested this program: postgraduate course in journalism online, from London school of journalism. He said the course will trains graduate to write well in all sectors, not only journalism. website: London School of Journalism | Appreciating English Literature Courses and Essay Archive I look forward to get a feedback of good DBAs or PhD research in IR from from USA, Australia, South Africa. I am not interested in British DBAs because the look more of PhD research than DBAs
