This online institute is offering their cert programs for a discounted rate: https://londonsba.org.uk/ Anyone have any experience with them? From what I can see - the PROs are that the certs are inexpensive to obtain, they look nice (even though they are delivered digitally) and the "school" doesn't seem to be pretending to be something that it's not (except that name is a little close to some more prestigious institutions). For the price they are asking, it seems like it would be hard not to find some value in the programs provided they had any substance at all. Is this an affordable opportunity or not worth the time?
Hello! It's an affordable opportunity not worth the time. - I mean, the certificate itself is nice but... WHY? Best regards, Mac Juli
Note: These are continuing professional development, not really for credit... It's like a repeat of already known info and you're spending $25 for that. I would skip it...
The certificate itself looks really good. And I agree that the name sounds really close to the University of London's schools. LBS - London Business School LSE - London School of Economics and Political Science Not sure if the certificate has any value, but as for continuing education for specific industrial certification CPE sounds fantastic such as Project Management,.
Has anyone tried them and knows how the content in being Delivered? Videos? PDF files? Audio? I didn't any information on the homepage regarding this.
Seems like there's some bogus reviews, but the low-rating reviews appear to be fairly consistent saying that the material is rather simple and lacks much depth. (Apparently, there's no videos in the program, -only text.) https://www.trustpilot.com/review/londonsba.org.uk I agree that the certificates look relatively nice.... -It's a little odd that this verbiage explicitly appears on the certificate, though, "a comprehensive curriculum, inclusive of case-studies, self-assessments, and quizzes". (Having the term 'self-assessments' prominently mentioned on a certification makes it seem less rigorous, in my opinion. -I have no idea why they chose to express it that way)
