    Respected All,

I Know it may seem weird, My Query is, If any University Is DETC Accredited then this accreditation is for how much period before a review of Accreditation by DETC is done.

Let's say an institution is DETC is accredited today, what is the probability that it remains DETC accredited after three years.

Is there any risk involved pursuing program from DETC Accredited Institutions , subject to their life span of accreditation.

    KINDLY HELP!

I think that initial DETC accreditation is for a five year period, but you can research that on their site www.detc.org and find out if you want. Of course, this does not absolutely guarantee that they will remain accredited for that period if it's found that a school is doing "bad stuff" ... however, as long as the school maintains the same standards they had when they were originally accredited, they should be re-accredited once their initial accreditation expires.
