    Did you finish accounting degree?

Did you finish your degree??? I'm considering LU for accounting primarily because of the cost. I foolishly chose an expensive undergraduate school.

    Thanks!!

It am about 10 months away. I ended up switching from MS in Accounting to MBA in Accounting after they made changes to the MBA program, and they allowed me to substitute ACCT 511 Adv Business Law for Accountant for BUSI 561 Legal Issues in Business. With the substitution and new format, I will be able to get 18 graduate credits in accounting.

SO far, I have completed five undergraduate classes: Intermediate Acct I & II, Taxation, Cost Accounting and Auditing, and three graduate classes: BUSI601 Acct for Decision making, ACCT511, Adv. Bus Law for Accts, and Acct 632 Adv. Financial Accounting Theory.

I am taking both BUSI601 economics and ACCT642 Ethics starting up next week. I will be taking 2 courses every 8 weeks to complete the degree by August 2012. I might end up taking one class per semester and finish later after I complete my ethics and economics, because my employer who I just started with last month (made big move from CA to TX) will pay for my graduate tuition in March. If that is the case, I might slow down, as they will pay for the last seven courses, and also study for the CIA Certified Internal Auditor exam.
