Carr is truly a mixed bag. Lots of odd and, I think, undefendable stuff, but the man is a licensed psychologist with a Ph.D. from (gasp) Vanderbilt, and he was President of two regionally accredited universities. And I was a spectator in the courtroom (along with Bruce Francis, then president of Capella) when the judge slapped down state attorney Asher Rubin as the most ill-prepared and unresponsive attorney she had ever dealt with.
