Legit but no academic value

    The question was "Please list some institutions that are legitimate but have no academic value."

    Given this question it can be logically stated that there are NO instututions that are legitimate but have not academic value. For legitamite is related to legal, which can either be taken in the positive sense (only legal if the state grants its legality) or in the negative sense (legal unless it violates some law). Since the state is nothing but legalized plunder we should logically use the negative sense of the meaning. And with that, if a person buys a PhD for $100 and they know that it will not get them a position in a university then it is still logically legitimate. It is only not legitimate if the institution has deceived its usage. Acceptance does not enter into the consideration because acceptance is by its very nature subjective and continuously change so to place a positive statement concerning its acceptance only serves the exact moment that it is so stated.

    As for "no academic value". many people were almost correct in the meaning of "value". As was demonstrated by economists, Quesnay, Condillac, Turgot, Menger, bohm Bawerk, von Mises, et al, value is subjective and as such will NEVER be the same in all situations for any two people. So if a person buys a $100 PhD and learns that is a $100 piece of paper that will bear him no future employment enhancement then it is still of academic value for academic learning does not soley include what is learned in the classroom. It includes things learned in the library, in the student union, in the dorms, any learning that relates to the academic experience, on or off campus. And what might by and large be deemed to have, or not have academic value, at one point in time can change at another point in time.

    So in answer to the question there is no such institution.
