Law School after 40...

    I say go for it as well! I can only speak for what I see on the criminal side of law but I have not seen any age discrimination at the local and state level. As to distance education JD's you might ask around about Taft Law School. Is this a school he should consider guys/gals? Either way good luck with your studies! :)

    I believe you should try as long as you have the finances to cover the debt. It takes a lot of hours to pay off 100k debt after law school. The hours most new lawyers have to put in at a firm are in the 80's a week range. Make sure your wife is ready for you to be an absent husband even after law school
