In checking out the current link to the LA Times article about the soccer coach, I was reminded the LA Times Festival of Books will shortly be upon us: www.latimes.com/extras/events/fob/index.html I noticed among the exhibitors last year Ten Speed Press, but not Snow Lion. Is there a possibility Dr. Bear, et al., might be present at this event?
No, I shall instead be at the West Coast Kennel Club show in San Francisco, where a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier puppy named Luiseagh (pronounced "Lucy") will be making her show debut. And this will probably sell just as many books as attending a book event would have done (i.e., zero). (Yes, I've seen Dog Show and no, I am not crazy about this sort of thing, but that was a condition of being able to buy this not-too-common breed: agreeing that she would be shown for two years).
