I've waited a long time for a first-hand report of a visit to Kennedy-Western University's 'campus' in Wyoming. Yesterday, a reporter told me of her visit. She found a basement office in Cheyenne, which appeared to be empty; no one at the desk. Eventually a person appeared, who refused to talk to her. End of visit.

K-WU is, of course, run from California, as it always has been, despite addresses in Idaho, Hawaii, and now Wyoming. But it is not able to accept students living in California.

As we report in the 14th edition of Bears' Guide, we get an awful lot of inquiries about Kennedy-Western, about 90% of them from Asia, Russia, and Spain.

  2. How inhospitable -- but not surprising. Despite the "corporate" address in Cheyenne given on the website and catalog, it seems pretty clear that the main operations are in California.
