I believe there are also concerns about her anti-semitism.

 

I do not normally wade in here, but her husband Douglas Emhoff is Jewish.

 

Nothing but a Pro-Life spin. She advocates for Women’s health, women’s reproductive rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, etc. This is the United States of America. We have freedom of religion. Catholics should not be forcing their values on the rest of us. That doesn’t make anyone bigoted against Catholics. But policymakers shouldn’t be making decisions for the entire country based on their religion.

 

For Catholics and others abortion is a human rights issue involving the destruction of another life. It is a life often with a different blood type than the mother and obviously a heartbeat that is different than the mothers. It is a living being.

There is probably some earlier point at which there is some debate.

The problem is pro-abortion or pro-choice people try to ignore the ethical issues and inhumanity of it in order not to bother their consciences. Often their defense of it is illogical nonsense that they don't even believe when it is carried out to its logical conclusions.

The vast majority of abortion is simply done for convenience. And the use of terms like women's reproductive health, women's health, and so on are simply marketing tools deliberately used to turn the debate. There is an interesting book by a pollster about how terms are used to manipulate. All sides do it in politics and marketing.

It has been interesting to see the number of stories that national public radio has been doing about the subject after the fall of Roe v Wade. It is an obvious agenda and they did a number of fear mongering stories to manipulate people.

 

Er....not a good Roman Catholic. There was some talk of exercising church discipline on him by refusing him Communion. He was simply Catholic in name.

 

Indeed, this is one major topic for the elections.
My personal view is pro life.
As many people of faith, view abortion as one of the moral declines of the society, a killing of unborn human being.

In my view, Harris at least initially will be having same as Pr. Biden stand on the issues.
On a positive note, I'm glad it's not a far left candidate.
But, yet to see who will be her VP choice.
And how firm Harris will stand on issues.
I think for the country, it will be better if it's a center right Dem.
But, speculate we may see someone far to the left.
Also we never seen two women on a ticket, this can be interesting.

Just stop. You are absolutely clueless about abortion and why OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE YOU OR CATHOLIC might need that care. Women’s lives are being put on the line because they can’t even get an abortion for a dead fetus. The restrictions are insane. Before Roe v Wade, women in desperate situations were dying through attempting it themselves. If it’s not for you, or anyone else, due to religious or other reasons, no one is FORCING you to have one, But it’s not up to you to decide what’s right for others.

This is why a vile human like Donald Trump has taken over a whole party. He knew that most Republicans vote based on a single issue - abortion. You overlook all of his countless flaws. If you want to go the religious route, you may want to read your Bible and see what it says about the Antichrist. It fits Donald Trump perfectly. At minimum, DJT completely fails to show any Christian values. He speaks in hate to those that do not fall in line. He calls people names that have different opinions than him. He demonizes his opponents. When he speaks, he talks about himself like he’s a martyr. His rhetoric that he’s the only one that can save America has his political allies talking about starting a civil war if he doesn’t win. It’s insane. Anyone who votes for him is making a grave mistake. I have no issue with normal GOP but DJT has turned it into a circus.

 

Abortion, is serious issue.
Woman's life at risk, or life at risk is an exception.
Abortions should be rare, to address specific situations.
If pregnant woman’s life is endangered unless the pregnancy is terminated, “her life takes precedence over [the fetus’s] life.”.

 

In response to parents trying to convince their daughter to have an abortion, the Rebbe responded that they should be told the truth the way it is. Aborting the fetus will be their daughter killing her child and them killing their grandchild!

 

You are putting forth a religious argument. It is not killing anyone except in religious terms and beliefs. It is a perfectly fine religious belief that should not be forced onto folks that don't hold those religious views.

There can be constructive criticism but no name calling and slurs etc.
