... and I am all DONE! Except, of course, for the waiting around for transcripts to be sent and reviewed. I took my last two final exams today. You'd think I'd have the motivation to get that last term paper written. I have already turned in 12 assignments and taken 4 proctored exams in that class, but I have been sitting on the term paper for four months in the endless tyranny of the urgent. It turns out to be my very last assignment for undergrad! Now I just have to actually write it....

The last one is always the hardest! :) I have one exam last this semester in Project Management... then a month off and onto the summer semsester - unfortunately my struggles aren't over yet :)

Congrats and keep up the good work!

Yes I agree with BlueMason, the last thesis is the hardest one to write. I guess I kind of feel that it should be downhill from here. If you love the topic though, writing it will become easier and easier as you think and brainstorm about it. I know my capstone dissertation for WGU seemed impossible until I just sat down and started writing. By the time I had 8 pages down I was so committed I couldn't stop until I was done.

    Good luck.

You've got it in sight, Elizabeth. When I came down to a final thesis with Bellevue, I imagined it as a wall with the objective (my degree) behind it. I just had to hit it hard enough to get through. You will as well, so hang in there!

yes - the difficult part is getting started! I had to write a 1500 word socio-psychological essay on a movie ( I picked Shrek ) which essentially covered as many socio-psychological topics to compare it to as possible.... I procrastinated and then finally hit the keyboard and punched it out - took me four hours but I fared very well on the paper and the course. It was worth the effort :)

In the past week, I've written two exams (Macro-economics; Bioethics), wrote the above mentioned essay, wrote two Bioethics case studies, and studied for tonights exam in Project Management. All that and I worked all week and suffered from the flu for a couple of days.

The week from hell, yes... but so gratifying to know that I've done it!!!

The moral of the story - don't fret, collect your thoughts and get to it...

    A moto "Git'r done!" :)

    Done!

I finally got the paper done and submitted. Now it's all about waiting for grades to post and transcripts to be sent and evaluated. UMUC seems to be the slow link in posting final grades, partly due to the mailing times on proctored finals. I completed a psychology major, and all but one requirement for the biology major via Excelsior College. GRE subject exam scores are released next week and will determine if I get the double major or just a focus area in biology.

    I can't believe I am done! :)
