Journalism classes at Harvard Extension

    Sorry to rehash a thread that is over a year old, but in regards to the ALM-Journalism at HES, Harvard has done away with the internship requirement making it a lot easier for a working professional to complete the program. Just wanted to share that in case anyone is interested.

    So it is easier to attend now? Kool. I may look into this and pass it along.

    You still have the residency requirements, but the internship component which was a full-time internship made it difficult for a working professional to complete the program. Doing away with the internship and replacing it with a capstone course (a series of related articles totally about 5000 words) makes the program doable for some that previously would not have been able to finish.
