Job accomplishments or promotions with your distant degree

My distance BS opened interview doors that would have otherwise stayed slammed shut, and made me eligible for promotions once in that I would not have been considered for without a degree. Degrees are like resumes in that they only get you considered; it's up to you to sell it from there. Don't let the delivery method steer you away from getting a degree.

 

Although, I have worked for the same company for 14 years, I could not have been considered for a senior management position without a bachelor's. My BS from Excelsior opened that door.
