From their website they show the following person on their teaching staff: http://www.iuhs.edu/facultyandstaff/bios.html#kalser Tilden H. Sokoloff DPM, M.D. Dr. Sokoloff is currently a clinical professor of podiatric surgery at the California College of Podiatric Medicine and is the past chairman of the department surgery. He is a Fellow of, and board certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Additionally Dr. Sokoloff is an emeritus visiting faculty member of the Stanford University School of Medicine. Yet, in the US he is shown as a DPM but not shown as a MD--which is it? run him through the California Board of medicine search engine http://www.docboard.org/ca/df/casearch.htm Is the Professor a real MD or an honorary one? Inquiring minds would like to know. It reflects on IUHS that their medical staff may have some credential questions. Consumer
Dr. Sokoloff is licensed as a podiatrist and a chiropractor. He could have an MD degree, but not be licensed as such. I would suggest asking the school where he received his degrees.
Well, you would think he might mention having an MD degree...do a yahoo search on him and he is identified as either a chiropractor or podiatrist in the US. Even in his 'bio' from IUHS he doesn't mention where he got his degree---very strange. Every other MD on that list says where they went to medical school.
