One of my co-workers at work has a AS in Info Systems (or something like it) from ITT Tech. I suggested to her that she needs to obtain a Bachelors if she wants to move up to the next level.

Will RA schools accept ITT credit?

    Thanks,

    Dave

I attended another NA private trade school (Remington College) earlier in life and at that point we had a transfer agreement with Capella, so I'd look at them and similar, private for-profit institutions.

Another option may be WGU or another of the NA / RA accredited institutions.

Lot's of schools will take them. Most will be for-profits but that's no big deal. WGU takes most NA cedits. A guy I went to HS with just got into the Masters program at Lone Star College system in Houston with a NA degree. It can be done.

World College may be a good fit for your friend, they have a sale on right now and they are NA.

My experience is that none of the RA schools in Massachusetts accept transfer credits from ITT Tech in MA.

Your mileage may vary elsewhere. I'm posting only due to having relevant, recent experience with a friend who had to go back to ITT tech because he couldn't transfer with credit.

I don't have personal experience but I think it has nothing to do with RA/NA but with the fact it is an AAS degree and those credits are in specific areas that wouldn't transfer to another institution's program. Just like my wife is starting an AAS Vet Tech program at an RA college and I can almost guarantee none will transfer to a traditional program.

Where is cookderosa and her AAS/AOS information?

Bellevue will take an AAS in full transfer but I'm not sure about their NA policy. I would definitely check with them.

I talked to them when I was at PF. They told me in full when I was done.

You are correct; Bellevue University (RA) will take an associate’s degree in full as long as it is accredited (NA or RA). This will leave the student to finish a bachelor level degree in a year’s time, depending on the student’s course load. I received my AAS from ITT and was accepted into a bachelor program at Bellevue with no problems. I’m currently completing my Master’s at Bellevue and at the beginning of next year will move into the PhD program that they offer.

So to the original poster, definitely look into Bellevue University.
