You may want to go to Vietnam for pursuing your MBA/PhD/DBA

    2. Northcentral University:

You might want to consider the Australian DBAs. They used to be very cheap as the Australian dollar was very weak compared to the US dollar but not so much nowadays. However, still cheaper than a lot of the American options and most in the range of 30K USD.

    Some to consider are:
    Charles Sturt
    University of Southern Queensland
    Deakins University
    New England

Time frames vary for each school but normally designed to be finished in 5 years part time.
CSU looks like a good program but wouldn't cut it if you want to use it for teaching purposes. Australian schools are US RA equivalent so could be used to teach in the US.

In Canada, Athabasca is planning to offer a DBA but more in the range of 50K.

I think I would rather put a little be more money and have something that can be used for teaching and for licensing (Some professional associations would consider a DBA for credentials such as CFP or CMA). I don't know if CSU would cut it for a CFP for example but there are for sure limitations with a DETC DBA.

    You need to search the
OUM websites to find this out.

But Tourism could be approached as a business.

    Long,
How does the program work? Does the student have to live in Vietnam? I was born in Vietnam, does that count? It seems to be cheaper than going to NCU as a Veteran.

    Dear Bao,
Tekman is right. I really want to be a(n) (adjunct) professor for online American universities. That is the reason why I decided to take my MBA course (and further in the future).
But, I am afraid that such online universities will not accept me because I am not a native or one from a country where English is spoken as the first language.
Are you from China, Bao? & any advice/motivation for me?

    Tekman,
I have called the rep office of NCU in Viet Nam.
They ask you to send your profile to be considered and checked.
    You have a chance.

Okay, let me jump on this one real quick. I think Bao is in Arizona, United States...The home state of UOP and NCU. I believe that you have to have an address in CONUS. This topic was discuss before, I think it is under the teaching section.

Can we conclude that peolpe in my case will not be recruited to be adjunct professors for online US universities?

That would depend on your credentials and what online universities are looking for.

    Long,

Here is the discussiona bout Online Teaching from Oversea.

I am not an expert, but if you select the school that you want to teach...then I can make some calls for you.

Also, thanks for the information with NCU in Vietnam. Well, I am trying to get into the University of Southern California and University of Utah. If I don't get into those two schools then I'll try NCU in Vietnam. Besides, maybe I can visit my relatives sometimes...hehehehhe.

Once again, thank you very much.

    Semper Fi,
    Henry

I live in the US but was born in VN. I know another VN adjunct professor teaching at my university, but he has a PhD from a regionally accredited university here in the US. He is also teaching at a VN university in Hanoi. If you have a PhD from NCU, you should have an easier time to find an online adjunct position here in the US.
