I've read somewhere on this board recently where someone was looking for information about internships. I came across a website specifically geared towards internships where one can include a resume and subsequently apply for several positions over-time. Some positions are virtual and some permit telecommuting. Others are defined by location. You can plug in your area and search that way. Some internships are paid, while others are not. The website is Internships. While I haven't personally vetted the site, I've looked through briefly and it seems to be legitimate to me.
