    Hello,

I came across this intriguing MA in Science and Technology offered through Deakin University:

    http://arts.deakin.edu.au/masts/maprcore.htm

The program entails 8 credit points (4 courses at 2 points each with an optional dissertation) and appears well-established and well-regarded. Of particular note to me is the program website; the organization and infrastructure appear first-rate. Further, the cost of the whole program -$6000- seems reasonable too. Hurry...the deadline for February admission is late November.

It looks like this program may not be around anymore. Everything on the website was dated in the late nineties, so I decided to poke around Deakin's main site. The program (AST) is not listed anywhere, but a few stray links still seem to be around. A Google search comes up with a link referencing "the now 'dead' Science Studies Unit."

The program looked really interesting (and it's a shame that it got axed). Does anybody know of any other universities offering a similar masters?

And an e-mail to the Course Coordinator
Assoc. Prof. Wade Chambers bounces as "unrecognized" suggesting he is no longer there.

Confirmation; I called Deakin, with a 'didnt you know' the program and Chambers are both long gone. They have no other similar programs, but they promised to look in their treasure chest to see what they have and get back to me.
