I would've not worried so much about the concentration on my undergrad and finished a BBA through the U of Wyoming.

I also chose UIS for the flexibility it offers due to thinking I was going to move right in the middle of completing an MS in IT/MIS. Had I known I was going to stay in Virginia as long as I did I would've completed my MS in IT at Va Tech.

Not that there's anything wrong with the choices I made, they're both really decent schools. But I'd still like to have a credential from a tier 1 university on my resume.

I'd have finished my associate's sooner and somehow pressed toward my Bachelor's, even if only little by little. If I'd have been REALLY smart, I'd have cleared through my Master's before hitting 35.

I wouldn't have tried to rush through my Master's degree. I did courses three at a time, trying to finish in four terms. But I changed jobs during my fourth term and it was a total fustercluck since I got in the weeds and flunked two of them. I ended up taking longer than if I'd just taken them two courses per term all along, and it dropped my cumulative GPA from nearly 4.0 to like 3.05.

But other than that, I really liked the play.

I would have waited a few extra year before starting.. I make almost straight A's now and back when I first started I made B's & C's. Its more important to me now to make better grades and make sure I am learning. The first go around I could have cared less and just did the work without taking in much information. Granted that would (and did really) add time to the time it takes to complete any degree, but I look back on the first 50-55 credits I got and wish I would have tried harder!

I would have stuck with my first (or at least second) online school (National Univ or Drexel Univ). I would have finished my bachelors a few years ago, vs. July of this year.

If I could do everything over again with respect to my education, I would have done better in high school, completed my bachelors through a good university (right out of high school) and then gone on to medical, dental, optometry, or podiatry school.

If I could do it all over again I would go for natural science qualifications rather than engineering. Although I've enjoyed every minute of my engineering career I get the AGU EOS every week that is always packed with dozens of great job and fascinating job opportunities.
