It is interesting that people look at distance learning is a challenge for higher education. With the 2020 Internet broadband connection and resources; I do not see the challenge at all. I experienced distance learning since the dial-up era, there is nothing challenging comparing to that.
We still have a significant digital divide in this country. There are many regions with limited to no broad band connections. I even know of professors who do not have home internet access, because logistically it is not available where they live. There may be minimal issues in urban and suburban communities, outside of costs. However rural communities face some significant struggles, especially those in mountainous areas. Great video find!
