How often do you shave your facial hair?
    What is your routine?
For me: every day, morning and evening.
I wet my face with a hot gauntlet (to open the pores) , then I shave with a Venus razorblade (they are gentler than Gilette ones and more durable) and then I apply some "Nivea" (not sure if they have that in the US? It's a skincare cream but very cheap).

What is your shaving regime and frequency?

Are you saying you shave twice a day? If so, why?

I can't shave every day due to skin sensitivity. I look horrible with stubble and my wife doesn't like me wearing a beard, so I shave about 3 times a week. I recently started shaving my head bald again, so I do it all at once.

For the head I started using a Remington Balder Pro electric shaver. I used to use a double edged safety razor, for closeness of the shave and for how wonderfully inexpensive they are. However, I'm extra busy these days and I'm able to use the electric shaver much faster than a safety razor. The routine is, wet my head with warm water, spread a miniscule amount of premium shaving cream and then quickly sweep and circle in every single direction until I get everything. Finish off with a slick of either glycerin or Biotin oil. It only takes about 5 minutes.

It takes me about as long to shave my face with a safety razor as with an electric shaver, so I still use the safety razors for my face. Warm water and gentle cleanser to start. Another dab of premium shaving cream (as with the head, it really makes a difference, and I only need a pea-sized portion to spread along the whole face, so it turns out to not be a huge expense). Then swipe every spot up, down, left and right. With the grain first, then against the grain last.

I can currently do the head and face and take a shower in about 20 minutes total time, which I think is pretty good, but I want to get it down to 15 minutes. Also, I'd eventually like to go back to using the safety razor on my head and seeing if I can learn to do it as fast as the electric shaver. It would save a lot of money and cleanup would be easier.

Shave once in six weeks. I consider shaving a waste of time.

I shave twice daily. I get very irritated from stubble. I have to shave to prevent rashes. Other people get rashes from shaving, I get rashes if I would not shave as often. I have a sensitive skin type too.
It also makes me look younger which I consider a plus. I have always been estimated at least 6 years younger than I am and it kind of gives my ego a boost when people think I'm 19 when I'm 25. I often feel very old and have a breakdown over my age, so when people think I'm younger it feels better to me personally.
I don't think safety razors on your head are a good idea.
I think electric shaving or those barber razors are a better idea.

You waste a lot of time with it but on the other hand it also feels good to feel your face and feel soft skin.
I don't grow facial hair but I grow scruff that I still shave daily.
I hate shaving too though. I have tried IPL and that worked a bit to slow the hair growth down but not that much.
I hear some people shave with a lighter. Never tried it myself but wonder if it is effective and less time consuming.

I shave once a week or two. I actually look good with a bit of stubble but awful with the patchy beard/moustache I grow if I let it out. My hair on the other hand grows like a chia pet and I have to get it cut every 6 weeks at the most otherwise it gets so thick they have to scissor-cut instead of using clippers, because the hair jams them up. Usually I get a number 4 clipper (which is apparently half an inch long) but it doesn't stay that short.

My hair grows super fast too. In summer I don't mind that, as I have natural curls (well had, since I once had my hair bleached and dyed it never curled again :-( ) .
I prefer my face silky smooth though. And for hair cuts I'm an absolute cheap skate , I hate spending 30$ on it so I delay it as long as possible. The more expensive life becomes, the more you try to cut on expenses like hair cuts etc. Especially in lockdown-times where no one sees your coupe anyway.
