Homework Incomplete - Comical or funny yet interesting excuses?

    Hey everyone... Just curious, what was the most interesting thing you've heard when someone was trying to explain why they didn't complete their homework or something along those lines?

    Yes, I have a Maltese Poodle mix puppy about 5 months old, he's eaten plenty of my homework drafts I print out, but that's not an excuse I'll use, I get things done accordingly and on time, before the deadlines.

    What was a valid reason you've heard before? Most of the valid ones I hear or read about are those who have those 'Life Happens' moments. YouTube has a few of these funnies from kids, I get a chuckle out of them sometimes...

    Hello!

    In a variation of the standard excuse, Dogbert from Dilbert was asked from a kid to eat his homework. Next picture, a roughed up kid told in school "A dog made me eat my homework.".

    During one of my undergraduate classes a young woman informed the instructor (a very bored male GA) that she had been having sex with her boyfriend and that he had used her homework to.... clean up, afterwards.

    She was given an extra day to resubmit.

    My homework is incomplete because ChatGPT, which I rely on for doing all my schoolwork, began experiencing hallucinations. As a result, it was metaphorically placed on a 72-hour psych hold, rendering it unavailable to complete the assignment on time.
