Thanks major, Victoria University is actually not AACSB accredited.

There are few schools that can grant a higher doctorate that are AACSB or EQUIS accredited. One is QUT and the other is UNISA (EQUIS) in Australia.

I contacted QUT and responded but they need to check my publications before granted admission. I sent my CV and is currently under consideration. However, I was not given great hopes as only two people in the history of the department have been granted the DSc as it seems to be given only to very senior researchers in the business area. I don't consider myself a top researcher but I still gave it a try.

The PhD by publication is an option but not cheap, most AACSB accredited schools require at least one year of registration, submission a dissertation that integrates the papers with at least 20,000 words, viva defense, and few travels (one for interview and other for defense). This could go as expensive as 20K and still requires a considerable amount of work to put all the publications together is a logical manner.

There are some schools that offer the higher doctorate in the UK that are not that expensive, but most of these schools only offer this option to their own graduates or faculty staff.
The higher doctorate is supposed to be higher than a PhD, so your research needs to surpass the requirements of a PhD.
