    Hi all,
i would like to get an undergraduate degree, i need it to be in business or economics.
reading alot of posts on this forum and doing some googling i came up with this path to get my ba or bs:
1- Associate degree from penn foster college in industrial engineering technology
2- get as much as credits as i can from lousiana state university.
3- transfer this whole thing to RA uni/college where i can get a BA/BS.

I know that PFC is not RA, but i read here that its courses are transfarable to many RA instituitions.

how does this look like? dosent sound workable?
i would like to have some comments or other solutions if possible
    tnx
    babak

If you decide to take credits via Penn Foster, be sure the RA institution you plan on transferring them to accepts those credits BEFORE enrolling in Penn Foster.

Also, don't forget that you can amass a lot of credits quickly by CLEP/DANTES testing.

Take a look at the following website ( http://bain4weeks.com ). You may also combine distance learning courses from Louisiana State University
    ( www.lsu.edu ), Peru State College ( http://www.peru.edu ) , Chadron State College ( http://www.csc.edu ), San Juan College ( http://www.sanjuancollege.edu/pages/163.asp ) and Clovis Community College ( http://www.clovis.edu ) and earn credits by testing ( DSST - http://www.getcollegecredit.com ), Clep - ( http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/clep/about.html ),
    Excelsior College Exams - ( https://www.excelsior.edu )
Thomas Edison State College - ( http://www.tesc.edu ). The appropriate combination of courses may transfer to Excelsior College for a bachelors degree in business. CLEP and DSST examinations can save a lot of money and time.

Yes, provided you're in the U.S. and thus have easy access to a participating testing center. If you're not, it's a lot harder.

Yes, San Juan is a RA school.

BTW, have you looked at any of the Open Universities in the EU?

Clep tests have limited test taking accessibility outside of the US. Below is a link to the clep international test center directory. If you live close to any of these test centers, it may be cost effective. If I was working in the UK, I'd definitely take advantage of the pounds purchasing power and enroll at an American university or college.http://apps.collegeboard.com/cbsearch_clep/searchCLEPTestCenterResults.jsp?searchCategory_state=0&searchdb_city=&DBACTION=SEARCH_TC&x=35&y=8
