With a dissertation to write, three listservs to moderate, and two new books on the horizon, I can't keep up on a day-to-day basis anymore. I'll still be dropping by from time to time, but if there's anything you specifically want to ask/tell me, drop me an e-mail at [email protected]. It's been fun. Take care! Hey Tom, I must have missed the formal announcement. What school did you eventually decide upon? Good luck with your dissertation and all your other projects. Jack
Good luck. This is becoming a common theme here (for me as well). The fading away of a number of people from degreeinfo is a sign of its success; those people were able to use degreeinfo as a tool to explore their options and having selected one, have moved forward. So, I say "congrats" to Russel, North, CLSeibel, Tom, some others probably...and degreeinfo.
I know the feeling. I am a grand total of 8 or 9 pages into my dissertation and feeling like it is defintely time to get down to business. I appreciate your contributions to the DL community in terms of research and commentary and wish you all of the best in your doctoral degree. North
From experience to those of you who are writing the dissertation: only sit in front of the computer to work on the dissertation. You are never through with it---NEVER!!!!!!!! The committee will tear it and you apart. And when the committee signs off on it off to style and edit it goes. Guys, get with it, you are paying tuition while you are working on it. I have listed my degrees other places, I would be happy to be the visiting scholar for anyone in the area of Human Services or Business. Good Luck! ------------------ Howard Rodgers
