I still have mine! Crazy to think how technology has improved so much in the video gaming world. I spent my youth playing Super Mario in 2D with so-so colors, and now my kids are now playing Disney Infinity which allows them to swap out characters and build their own 3D worlds. -Matt
Mine was stolen when I was a kid. I loved that thing. I was just yesterday thinking that it's a pretty big disappointment to me that I never beat Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle 2. I don't have any plans to buy one again, so I might never have a chance. My absolute favorite game was Zelda: Link's Awakening. Everything fun about any Zelda game, but set outside of the regular (convoluted) Zelda universe and with a very quirky sense of humor. Lots of fun and plenty of challenge to keep you busy for a while
I LOVED that game. Then again, I'm a Zelda fan anyway. And I'm right there with you on Bugs Bunny... Ahhhh, the memories!:banana::banana: -Matt
Then there was Tetris! That game has been ported or cloned to every capable device over the last 20+ years, but it is definitely best executed in handheld form. Re: Zelda- Best moment ever in that game: When I realised the shopkeeper was a little slow in keeping his eye on Link, I played around for several minutes to see if I could sneak out with an item in my possession without paying, not really expecting that it would work. Of course, it did work, which was a huge thrill!!!
Happy birthday indeed. Oh the great memories. I still have mine along with a Game Gear and a Turbo Express. I love video games and I'm a collector. I still have my Atari 2600, Sega Master System, NES, SNES, Genesis, Turbo Grafx-16, Turbo Duo, and my all-time favorite Neo Geo.:dance: I like the current gen, however, I'm old school. To me, the golden age of video games started with the 8-bit generation and reached its apex during the 16-bit generation.
And I give you this! I have this in my Western Civ course! -Matt
Awesome! I guess I never really thought of USSR/Russia as "Western". I have a vid for you, too! This is what I was talking about from Zelda. The best part is what happens at the end.
