    Hi Michael

I appreciate your directness and sense of humor.

As Mark points out many CCU undergraduate and graduate courses consists of solely of open book unproctored multiple choice tests after reading a single textbook. This is NOT university level study. Yes, my high school did offer Business Law twenty years ago.

My comment about utility comes from the fact that most people see any unaccredited school as a degree mill. While this is not 100% true, it is more true than untrue. And, it isn't likely to change. In your original post it sounded like your supervisor saw little problem with the Harrington degree just like she sees little problem with you unaccredited program.

If you personally find value in the program, great! As either an academic or professional credential it is half a step away from a degree mill. I hope it gives you what ever you are looking for. If my post comes across as too harsh, I apologize. I believe this is an important issue and not one to be pragmatic about.

    Dave,

No offence taken, and thanks for your input.
I do find value with the program, and my experience is that it is no different than some of the community college courses I have taken. The only difference is that there is no professor lecturing. Hell, I even had a government course where the professor gave us the test answers to study before the exam.
But that is just my opinion, just like you and the Captain have yours, and you know what they say, opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.:D

    Veritas,

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

I think the you may have hit he nail on the head. A "bachelor" degree from CCU, probably has the same level of utility a terminating studies at the RA Associate's level.

Before I get dog-piled, I want to state, the utility of the Associates degree itself, not the continuation (transfer credit) of the studies toward a RA bachelors.

For the record, I possess an Associates of Applied Sciences in Business. It has helped in the business community only once.

CCU degree worthless, no....but do not be mislead as to its value.

    David
