The first of what may be an on-going series on degree mills is scheduled to be broadcast (all four minutes of it!) Friday Feb. 23 on ABC between 8 and 9 am.

Greg Hunter (their on-screen consumer editor) and I spent 5 hours taping in my home two weeks ago, going through on-line posted resumes at a major resume service . . . and then Greg made unannounced visits to three people who had totally fake degrees and positions of great responsibility.

We actually found hundreds of such people, and if the interviews make good television, which they should, it will become a regular feature.

Of course it may all end up on the cutting room floor if the US sinks any more Japanese fishing boats or Dale Earnhart dies again or comparable.

The exact time (if any) should be known late Thursday, and I'll try to post it here.

I would think the resurection of Dale Earnhart would be the big news. His subsequent death (again) at the races sunday will likely bump the [rescheduled] segment on monday's GMA [IMG]

Hey, that's right, FactWatcher Pendleton did promise to have a major network with a prominent on-screen interviewer clean my clock. And look, a few weeks later, GMA is in my home all day with five people.

But (sorry, Pendleton) this came about through an FBI referral, and they didn't ask one question about my chequered past.
