I know you asked about an masters degree but the school I am attending, Fielding Graduate University, has a Ph.D. in Media Psychology that typically enrolls people in Hollywood and the news/entertainmentindustry (is there a difference?) They give you an MA on the way to the Ph.D. I am in the clinical psychology program but just last month got to meet some media psych folks and they were so... so... so.. California-ish
    :)

    Re: MA

No Sheffield Hallam isn't Royal chartered it is a Thatcher University. However it is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities which is Royal Chartered.

I found some other Royal Charters while looking on the Privy Council web site; The Asylum for Idiots which received its charter on 1st Nov 1862 and the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers which received its charter on 13th April 1937. There are about 400 Royal Charters out there including some older commonwealth universities e.g University of Toronto.
