Getting a job with an Online degree?

    There's A LOT of commonwealth Universities setting up brunches here, offering their programs etc.
    But the locals don't seem keen on a US type education.
    Some of the factors they cited (from friends who are/were doing degrees here)
    1. Duration, since CW unis take only 3 years to complete their degree
    2. More focused in area of interest
    3. Cost

    I'm one of the rare few that went the US route ):

    If the university has a good catering reputation, then brunch can be a huge selling point

    I know it was just a typo. :)

    To the original poster: I think the bigger issue is great university vs. mediocre university, rather than online program vs. residential program.
