Your evaluations should be individual and it seems they were. That's good.

 

Bachelor of administration (3yr) from lakehead university. It is also identical to Athabasca Bachelor of administration (3yr) discussed here many times. But there are a few more 3-yr out there in Canada by distance like at York University, and Thomson River University.
I was a college transfer to lakehead, not distance.

 

Another fact, WES also evaluated my education leading to my Canadian accounting designation as a Bachelor of Accounting. This put me on the spot with excelsior because I was not accepted to do another bachelor with them because according to WES I had three undergraduate degrees.
If the choice is between a 3yr degree and no degree then the choice is easy. Also earned your diploma or associate on the journey. My advice is to take your achievement in steps - in the end you will be motivated longer and will accomplished more. It is basic Operant ConditioninG.
If Amity has a free 3yr take it and run with it. Please do not listen to the naysayers. You will be that much closer to your goals.

 

It's good to hear your real story PhdtoBe. I've read in several places that some credential evaluators must very carefully examine 3 Year Bachelor degrees to determine equivalency. That was the entire point behind my post -- nothing at all to denigrate or undermine 3 year Bachelor degrees. Just a "caveat emptor" type of warning.
