Does anyone have any experience with, or comments about their BSINT program? It looks decent and it's really cheap compared to similar programs. I am currently a level 1 support tech for a web technology/communications company and am looking to get into network support/engineering. I have a BA earned 10 years ago in a completely unrelated field, and think a BS in IT or IS would help my cause a lot. In addition to FHSU I am looking at Regis, Umass-Lowell, and maybe Franklin U. and Athabasca. FHSU has the edge due to the costs. Athabasca is also very cheap, but I'm not too sure about it. Any insight into these programs or other ones that you think might fit would be greatly appreciated.
I always thought fort hays looked very interesting. I am wondering if students work through earning their CCNA and CCNP classes as they progress on a virtual campas like they do on the live campus.
I am looking into getting a certificate in programming, and in my research I haven't found anything negative about Athabasca. It is not a highly regarded Canadian university, but it's very solid. I have seen people post that their classes are harder and more comprehensive than comparable -- and more expensive -- American ones. Their low price and self-paced courses are also a big plus.
It could if it participates in the FAFSA. http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/index.htm, but I didn't see it on the list of participating schools, so I think that limits you to private company loans.
