    People,

This seems like to be such a good source and a quick way of finding degree info.

My goal is to earn a doctoral degree, prefer history, or closely related subject. I would like to adjunct at the local (wannabe) college or more likely online.

I am wondering about foreign (non-US for our friend from France) degrees. Is there somewhere good and reputable that will easily be accepted in the US? All DL.

I am thinking that maybe long term it may be a good asset to have.

if you want really really inexpensive degrees that is legal and accredited by the university grants commission(government of India), then Indian post graduation history degrees are the best bet. There are so many universities including Madras University which offers such a course through regular correspondance course. You would just need to take the exam in a study center nearby chason by the university. The cost of the program could come to even less than $500 to $750! (when converted into Indian money)

  3. Very interesting and incredibly cheap. I believe that India has a good education system too. How willing are they to consider students from other countries?

I don't know about other Indian universities, but Indira Gandhi National Open University publishes a prospectus specifically for prospective doctoral students from outside India.
