Federal Tax and Auditing courses/exams...

I'm looking for Auditing and Income/Federal Tax courses or exams. Are there any other independent courses besides LSU I-study? I'm looking to spend up to $500 per course as long as course schedule is asynchronous. If I can knock both out by Aug/Sep that would be awesome...

 

You might also take a look at the degrees and certificates offered by ACCA in the UK: http://www.accaglobal.com/members/qualifications/.
They are quite inexpensive and the organisation is really established. I might take the Certificate in International Auditing in the near future, even so I have no background in Tax/Auditing/etc. But since it is all online, I'm sure it is somehow doable. But I guess you are looking more for classes for credit or more US centered ones?

 

Adams State College offers auditing for right around $500. These guys take independent study very literally. At least when I took a course there, it was little more than, here's the textbook, here's a study guide, get back to us when you want the final exam mailed.

 

Excellent!... I've used the Google for literally 3 hours and didn't run across this school...thanks. Now if I can find a good deal on Federal/Income Tax (Tax Accounting) I'll be good to go.
