    Which, actually, now that I think about it, is probably pretty much where this thread should have been started, too.

    So moved.

    Not even close...

    You are implying something is occuring more often now than in the past. Where is your proof for that statement? Media outlets are not even close to reliable proof. They hype for ratings.

    This is an education board, let's act educated.....

    Ok, here we go..

    More of the I am on the left so I am right logic. Heck, I rarely even listen to Fox but this is too much. Where is the evidence the NPR gets it right? Where are these NPR reporters researching the news or do they, like I said, simply regurgitate other stories provided by other sources. I just went to their web site and it sure seemed filed with wire stories. Where are the NPR reporters on the scene?

    The burden is on you.

    DTECh,

    If you can name a source that I can retrieve classified information from then I will be happy to review that. Otherwise, three sources are substantially adequate for professional support.

    The burden of proof to show that there are more incidents currently than in the passed has been made. No one has presented any documents that show past incidents are more than current ones. So by default, three more than zero is an increase.

    Increase = Getting worse.

    Re: The burden is on you.

    No, in the real world proof is on the one making the assertion. I can run outside today and see how many people are parked illegally. If I go out tomorrow and find less or more I have enough information to define a trend over a two day period but I do not have enough to say anything about the past or even conjecture for the long term.

    You have said something is occuring more now but have no data on past events to use as a comparison, This is such a basic flaw to your argument that it is beyond belief I have to point it out to you. If you don't know that already you have no business being on this board attempting to debate.

    Look up fallacious arguments as you are practicing a couple of them. Here is a web site so you can identify yours:

    FBI is Tapping Phones Without Legal Ground

    We can agree to disagree. I feel I have satisfactory evidence to support my argument and to make it a discussion topic. Thank you for participating.
