I've been in the car a bit lately, and have ended up starting to listen to podcasts to make better use of the time. Does anyone here listen to any interesting podcasts on higher education, international education, distance learning, educational technology, and the like? (Or just any other cool podcasts in general?)

Just turned off my current podcast series for lunch break. Hardcore History is my favorite. If you can find the old ones on Mr Khan (I believe it's called Wrath of the Khans), it was the first one I listened to from him, and it was excellent. I have gone through them twice. The podcasts are 2-4hrs a piece, typically 4-6 episodes per topic. I started a new one today from him, looking forward to it (King of Kings....the Assyrians were ruthless!).

The History of Rome podcast is another good one, and was the very first podcast series I went through....100+ hours later I finished it, it was excellent.

Not sure if you are into history or not, but they are very, very good. Other than that, I listen to EMS/medic podcasts, and shooting podcasts.

I LOVE Malcolm Gladwell's Revisionist History. He's in season 3, but they're all uploaded. Start from 1, really good. Especially related to education in an unexpected way was the episode called "Food Fight" which I think I mentioned once a while back. Super intellectual, social science people-watching unexpected interpretation is right up my alley. Good stuff.
